Biochar is the carbonized biomass waste product of the process but it is definitely not waste. Biochar is produced throughout the process as biomass is continually continuously converted to energy what’s left is the biochar that is conveyed away from the CHyP engine to a storage container. BioPower did not invent biochar but we do make it better due to the extreme high temperatures of BioPower’s CHyP engine the purity of biochar is dramatically improved as a soil amendment which greatly increases crop yields due to the carbon’s ability to hold plant nutrients in place and reduce the amount of water plants need, BioPowers biochar is also loaded with graphene.
Graphene is one product that BioPower believes has unlimited potential. Graphene has become a valuable and useful nanomaterial due to its exceptionally high tensile strength, electrical conductivity, transparency and being the thinnest two-dimensional material in the world. At one item thick graphene is the world’s first discovered two dimensional material structure. It’s harder than diamonds 100 times stronger than steel and has the highest terminal conductivity and ability to distribute force from an impact than any known material and it’s purest form lab grade graphene sells for an average of $100 per gram and yet there are already too many uses for it’s mentioning here. Graphene is still relatively new and there is a lot of research going on with new discoveries of applications happening more frequently. It’s very satisfying to know that multiple revenue streams come from BioPower’s production process.
Biofuel is produced by tweaking the reactions on temperatures and throughput speed of the cellulose material inside the chip engine the process yields a fluid that is carbon-based and full of hydrogen energy this biofuel works well as diesel with proper filtering you can forward into a diesel engine and it burns cleaner and much better than fossil fuel diesel.

Green hydrogen is very lucrative and in demand because BioPower stores its surplus hydrogen to sell on the open market. The value of hydrogen in 2022 was $5.5-9.5 dollars per kilogram. The electrolyzer produces more hydrogen than we use in the gas fired boilers. This allows for a surplus amount of hydrogen gas to be sold on the open market.
